Kosmetique - Palace Gates [Music Video]

Sometimes you hear tracks that fall a little out of your wheelhouse and your first instinct is to move as quickly away from it as possible (I'm looking at you, country music). But this track builds enough after the first 30 seconds that it loses a bit of the repetitiveness that drags it down at times. (Make no mistake, though, it's still repetitive as fuck. Just not in a bad way.) Another thing that bothers me? When labels upload tracks to their YouTube but give no information on the band who's video you just watched. Shouts to Alftitude.

Tove Styrke - ...Baby One More Time [Britney Spears Cover]

You know how sometimes the beat is so hard that you don't even give a fuck what the lyrics say? I mean, I've had thousands of iterations of MIMS' "This is Why I'm Hot" or anything by Chingy or recent shit by Snoop, etc. etc. that I've only played because the shit was hot but the lyrics were post-Disney-pricess-esque (think Miley, Selena, Demi).

This is like that. Only because covering classics like this always feels a little blasphemous to me. I don't actually believe they are, but until it becomes a staple of the rotation, there's always a little tug telling me it is. Anyways, check out Tove Styrke's cover of "...Baby One More Time" by Ms. Britney Spears. Shouts to Alftitude.

Song of the Day: Claire - Games [Music Video]

Dope German electronic pop. Summer is quickly creeping up and this is the kind of shit you wanna chill to. Or dance, I guess. I'd refer you to their social media profiles, but, fuck, they're all in German and aint nobody got time for that. Shouts to Alftitude.
