Florrie - Real Love [Music Video]

While Florrie is hard at work prepping her debut full-length album, she let loose the music video for "Real Love", possibly the first single from the yet untitled album. We're big fans of Florrie here at The Reckless Hedonist. We introduced her a while back and she was featured on the Top One Percenters Mixtape Vol 17, Vol 18 and Vol 20. Show love and check out her Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Soundcloud and website.

The Top One Percenters Mixtape Volume 20

It's been a minute since I created the last Top One Percenters mixtape. But it hasn't been for lack of trying. I'm trying to not do the whole "illegal uploading of music" thing so I tried to make the mixtape in Spotify. Well, the whole thing about about Spotify is that they don't really have remixes. I went to Souncloud to find the remixes and they didn't have a lot of non-dance stuff. So I'm left with a combo of both — YouTube.

Volume 20 is the most dance centric mixtape I've done this far and it's really reflecting the type of music I've been listening to for the past year plus. There just hasn't been enough good rap music for a while. But maybe Kendrick will change that. Either way, check out Florrie, Anna Lunoe, Ladyhawke, DJ Fresh, Years & Years, and more in the Top One Percenters Mixtape Volume 20. Peep the YouTube playlist after the jump.

Introducing Florrie

I've been a fan of Florrie for a few years now, ever since I stumbled upon "Panic Attack (Fred Falke Remix)", a 7 minute house remix. Florrie's the drummer for production house Xenomania (Girls Aloud, The Saturdays) and has been releasing EPs at a rate of about one per year. Her latest, 2014's Sirens, is my personal favorite. It includes the above "Wanna Control Myself" and four other electro-synthpop bangers. Florrie's working on her first full length album which is supposed to drop sometime later this year. The first single from that album, "Too Young To Remember" (below), debuted on H&M's website and YouTube page. Whenever I listen to Florrie, I just feel a sense of excitement and happiness. That shit's rare. Show love and check out her Soundcloud, Facebook, Twitter, website and iTunes page.
