Kanye West's 2010-2011 is the Greatest 2 Year Stretch in Music History

I was listening to Rick Ross' "Live Fast, Die Young" a few weeks ago and "I Don't Like" came on next. Then "Christian Dior Denim Flow." Then "Devil in a New Dress" and "Niggas in Paris." And I thought, damn, Kanye had a really crazy 2010 and 2011.

After discussing with a few friends and strengthening my argument, I landed here:

Kanye West's 2010 and 2011 is the greatest 2 year stretch by a music artist in history

The Top One Percenters Mixtape Volume 22

Twice in one year? I'm officially back on my mixtape game lol. After taking 3 years between volume 20 and 21, we're trying to do things a bit quicker these days. The Top One Percenters Mixtape is up and running. See below for the Spotify embed. Included are superstars like Drake ("That's How You Feel") and Pusha T ("What Would Meek Do?"), but also a lot of summertime flexes and remixes from  Cardi B ("I Like It" Dillon Francis Remix) Dagny, Dua Lipa, Sean Paul (yes, that Sean Paul), Rae Sremmurd and more. Check out the rest of the mixtapes here and follow on Spotify.

Majid Jordan - My Love ft. Drake [Music Video]

Majid Jordan is a production/singing duo from Toronto who were first put on the map when they co-wrote and co-produced Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" back in 2013. Since then, they've been hard at working making a name for themselves and they've released the music video for "My Love", which will likely be the first single from their forthcoming, but still untitled and undated, debut album. "My Love" reminds me of early The-Dream the way it's so well written.

Back To Delilah [Drake x Florence + The Machine Mashup]

Back To Delilah [Drake x Florence + The Machine] from Tesher on Vimeo.

Someone gives Drake's Meek Mill "diss" song the instrumental and atmosphere it deserves. While the original beat was devoid of energy, this mash up with Florence + The Machine's "Delilah" provides all the ammo Drake should've came with the first and second time around.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! Presents Mean Tweets - Music Edition #2

Jimmy Kimmel Live!, continuing in their tradition of having celebrities read mean tweets about themselves, debuted the most recent installment — Mean Tweets - Music Edition #2. You've got Katy Perry, Wiz Khalifa, Britney Spears, Blake Shelton, Drake, Lady Gaga, Iggy Azalea, and more

The best track off Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint album is "Truffle Butter" ft. Drake + Lil' Wanye

I'm not a fan of this album but I do fuck with "Truffle Butter" because it's what "Only" should have been — a posse cut without everyone trying to fuck Nicki ("Truffle Butter" samples "What They Say" by Maya Jane Coles.) I also fuck with "Get On Your Knees" with Ariana Grande which was, weirdly enough, co-written by Katy Perry. I'm guessing it's origin started as a track for Perry's Prism album.
