Dope Anti-Drunk Driving Commercial from New Zealand
Any "anti" anything commercial is usually doom and gloom. There is the anti-texting commercial from the UK that is one of the most graphic things you'll ever see, and that includes anything you'd see in a movie. But this New Zealand anti-drunk driving commercial is really refreshing because they don't even attempt to scare you out of drunk driving. Instead, they play on humor to persuade you to be the person who prevents someone from drunk driving. The spot is a few years old, but new to American audiences.

The anti-texting commercial from UK is certainly explicit, but I guess that’s what makes it effective. Meanwhile, this anti-drunk driving commercial from New Zealand attempts to do so with a bit of humor, which is also a good way to connect with the younger demographic. I hope that by sharing those advertisements, it would help persuade more people to drive responsibly. Thanks for sharing!

I like how this commercial approached the issue of drunk driving differently. Instead of presenting the gore and graphic side that the act may come with, it merely shows the dilemma with which a lot of teenagers could relate with – such as fear of sounding prude in front of their peers when stopping someone from driving home drunk. Even so, it conveyed the message in light but effective manner. Thank you for sharing!
