Alpines - Cocoon

I've been fucking with Alpines for a while, so I had one of those "what the fuck" moments when I saw this video because I'd never heard it before, despite dropping four years ago. This is a dope elelctro-indie-pop track by a dope band, and I highly suggest you check out their song "Zero", Twitter, Facebook, Wiki, or Bandcamp. The UK-based indie-pop/soul band Alpines are not to be confused with the Australian based indie-pop group Alpine. "Zero" starts like a super dance/house track before the pop and soul kicks in. And that's okay. It's got the background drums (and the African face) and Catherine Pockson's literally sweet and soulful voice on it, which gives each track a starting feel of quality even before a single word or note is written.
