Summer Moon is a supergroup of sorts, consisting of artists from popular bands that I know nothing about. Per Stereogum:
former Like member Tennessee Thomas debuted a band called Summer Moon which features the Strokes’ Nikolai Fraiture on vocals and bass, Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Spring on keyboards, Lewis Lazar on guitar, along with Thomas herself on drums.The band has yet to officially release any music, but they're performing two shows at SXSW this year, and hopefully they'll let loose something official soon after. Why do I care if I know nothing about the music of The Like, The Strokes, or Au Revoir? Because WhoWhatWear has a promo video for Alexa Chung's collabo with AG Jeans. And who has an incredibly dope ass track titled "With You Tonight" as the music? Summer Moon. Check out their website and Facebook.
