Charli XCX, perhaps best known for singing the hook on Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and writing and featuring on Icona Pop's "I Love It", really landed on the map as a solo artist earlier this year when "Boom Clap" was featured on The Fault of Our Stars soundtrack and reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 (it's also included on Sucker).
Sucker, her third album and first as an emerging superstar, is in stores now.
My two favorite tracks, in order, is the above "Caught in the Middle" and below "Doing It". "Caught in the Middle" really shows of her songwriting ability (like you needed anymore proof) and could (and should) easily be a future single.
